From the time you are admitted to the university until the time you are ready to graduate, the College Eight advising team is here to explain requirements and policies, refer you to support services, and to help you achieve your academic goals.
College Academic Advisers (Academic Preceptors) answer questions about general education, campus and university requirements, and choosing classes.
College Advisers also monitor your progress towards your degree and your academic standing and direct you to important courses and enriching opportunities at UCSC.
Advising is an important component of your undergraduate education and the College Eight Advisers are available to support your success in College.
